I was looking at the 18239 Tridor, one without diamonds and a silver dial. I really like the fact that Rolex put so much effort into making this watch. I know its not for everyone, and agree it brings back the over exuberance of the 80s, but why do so many Rolex enthusiasts hate it since it was such a great part of DD history?I have read many comments on how Rolex owners and collectors love or hate the Tridor. I know I can ask the RSC to swap out the dial - anyone know what that might do to the resale value? It would go down I assume but also diamond dials also depress the resale right now.
