Many Rolex watches from the 20's and 30's had these types of markings. I've seen them with a variety of numbers from 7 to 31 with the wording "Word's Records", "World Records" and "Records Universels". What does it look like? Rolex Day-Date “Oyster Quartz”: A rare quartz version of the classic Day-Date, produced in limited numbers during the 1970s and 1980s. Rare Rolex Submariner ref. 6200: One of the earliest Submariner models, produced for only one year in 1954. Rolex Zerographe ref. 3346: A rare chronograph from the late 1930s, with only a handful known to exist. I don't have much to add as you already deciphered it's a 1920ish RWC trench watch, except that it's clearly a nice enamel dial. Only enamel stays that crispy white after a century.
