I am interested in possibly purchasing an Omega Speedmaster Professional. However my wrist are on the smaller end at 6inches. I was wondering, does anyone else have wrist similar to mine? and if so do you have the speedy pro? As the title suggests, I am considering purchasing either an Omega Speedmaster Pro (3570 or the newer 311 model) or a Rolex Submariner (newer ceramic model). The problem is that I have wrists that measure 6 inches in diameter. Now the first thing that hits me about this Speedmaster is just how well it wears. With a case that’s 42mm wide and 13.49mm thick, the Speedy isn’t small, but it sits very well on my skinny 6.25-inch wrists. The reason it wears so well is the gorgeous case design. Strictly from a visual standpoint, for a 6" wrist the reduced (3510.50 or 3539.50) are perfect. The pro will wear too large imo. The date models do wear a little bit bigger then the reduced and def smaller then a pro, but if you want the .
Fits well on my 6.25 inch wrist, but I also once owned a GSotM and thought that was fine too (my only problem with that was the thickness). The new bracelet doesn’t pull any hairs, unlike the 1479. i would love to see pics of it on your wrist!I have a 6.5" wrist with the latest Speedmaster pro and it works. The new strap is more forgiving for smaller wrists, but you definitely need to try it on. If you're especially lean, it might not. I have a 6 1/2 inch flat wrist, which is pretty small, but I can wear a regular Speedmaster no problem! I think it all does come down to the lug to lug distance. Make sure you try one on in person before you decide!
Fit is going to be comparable since Omega shortened the lugs with the latest model. If you go bracelet, the adjustable clasp is a must but with 6" wrists, a strap may give you better comfort. Another option could be looking at the 39.5mm Planet Ocean. Omega Speedmaster on 6-in wrist. I thought the 42mm watch would wear too large on my wrist, as I’ve had issues with watches from other brands that were 37-38mm in diameter. Surprisingly, the Speedmaster with its curved lugs seems to fit really comfortably. What are your thoughts?
